~ Terms of Service ~

In order to receive a commission, you must agree to these terms.

USE AND OWNERSHIP OVER COMMISSIONED WORK
Customers are permitted to re-upload their commission for personal use (in their own galleries, as profile pictures, etc.) as long as:
~ I am credited in the description (where applicable) ~
~ My watermark is not removed from the piece ~However, as the artist,
I retain the right to all finished commissions,
including the right to reproduce, distribute, and sell prints of the commission.
Customers are therefore not permitted to trace, edit, or otherwise alter their commission without my permission.If you'd like to obtain full ownership of your commission, including the right to alter and resell the piece, it will cost extra.

You can request a full refund if I have not started the commission.
You can request a partial refund if the commission has been started but not completed.
You will not receive a partial or full refund if the commission has been completed.For all information on your commission's progress, check my Trello commission board.Note that the amount you are refunded will depend on the amount of work already done on the commission.
Furthermore, I reserve the right to alter and reuse partially refunded sketches as bases for other works (personal art, YCHs, etc.).
Note that this only applies to the sketch’s pose; I will never use your original character(s) for other work!REQUIRED MATERIALS FOR COMMISSIONS
All commission requests must include a reference in the form of
(both or either):
~ One or more visual reference(s) ~
For original characters / species, detailed character reference sheets are preferred, but not required.
You can supplement visual references with detailed descriptions (e.g. if there is a particular feature not shown on your visual references)~ A detailed description of any characters and/or environments that will be portrayed in the piece ~
This includes posing, background details, theme, atmosphere, and so on.
The more information, the better!While I will liaise with you via e-mail to ensure I portray your characters/ideas accurately, I cannot guarantee that a commissioned piece will be exactly how you envisioned it if no visual references are included.

All prices are given in USD.
The final price of your commission will depend on the number of characters in the piece, the level of detail in the character(s)/environment, and the overall complexity of the piece.
However, the price will not change once agreed, unless major alterations are requested after the sketch stage.

~ REFERENCE SHEETS / CONCEPT ART / DESIGNS~

GUIDELINES
I can create references for:
Original characters
Original species
(includes fauna, flora, and environments)
Patterns
(brush designs, borders, backgrounds, tattoo designs, logos, art program materials)Each commission is limited to one character / species / design per reference sheet.
If you want a joint reference sheet, I can do that, but it'll be double the price of a single reference sheet.For patterns, prices will vary depending on complexity. Discuss your ideas with me via e-mail and we can negotiate a price.My basic reference sheets use flat colours only.
This makes it easier for other artists to see all the colours/details of your character!
That said, if you really, really want a fully shaded reference sheet, times the final price by 1.5 (+50% of the cost for an unshaded reference sheet).

If you want anything else on the reference sheet that isn't included here, let me know in the final question of my commission form so that I can determine the cost.
Some basic guidelines on the cost of extras:
~ A close up of a specific body part: $5+ depending on its size and complexity ~
~ An extra full body view (e.g. to showcase powers, alternate forms, etc.): +$45 ~

PATTERNS
(includes brushes, tattoo designs, etc.)

Pricing is determined by detail and complexity.

Simple designs start from $25.

More complex designs (including detailed colour/shaded versions of simple designs) start from $50.

For an extremely complex design, prices start from $100.

Commission Process

I will respond to your request as soon as possible via e-mail
to confirm or decline your commission, as well as clarify any details I am unclear of.
I reserve the right to decline your commission for any reason,
including reasons not listed in my Terms of Service.
If I decline your commission, I will explain why.In this e-mail, I will tell you exactly how much your commission will cost.
Commission prices are non-negotiable. You can request certain details be removed or simplified if you want to make your commission cheaper.I will also request your Paypal e-mail so that I can invoice you.
I only accept payment via Paypal.~ INVOICING ~
Please do not send payment first;
I will invoice you once I have received your Paypal e-mail.
I will not begin your commission until payment is received.You will have a week to respond to this invoice.
If I do not receive payment within a week, I will cancel your commission.~ ART PROCESS ~
I will begin your commission as soon as I receive your payment.You will receive two watermarked WIPs:
~ Sketch WIP ~
Note: This is an opportunity for me to make any changes to your commission free of charge!
I will not make any major changes (e.g. altering a character's pose) after the sketch stage.
If you request any major changes after the flat colour stage, this will cost extra, with the new price dependent on how much of the piece must be altered.~ Flat colour WIP (if applicable) ~
Again, I will make minor changes free of charge.Note that I will not move on to the next stage (e.g. from sketch to line art / flat colours) until you confirm that you are happy with the WIPs.You can also keep track of your commission's progress here.~ FINAL PIECE ~
I will e-mail you the final piece as a 300 dpi PNG image file.
Any changes at this stage will cost extra, with the cost rising depending on the complexity of the alteration.
However, if you notice a mistake that was clearly shown on the reference image(s) or in your description, I will make any changes for free!
